About Patcher
Built by a small business owner, for small service teams.
Patcher is made by Patcher Inc., a software company based in Buffalo, New York. It was founded by Aaron Roberts, who also owns and runs Buffalo Bolt, a two-person service business. The company makes two products: Patcher, simple booking and scheduling software for small service teams, and Patcher Connect, which fills cancellations in the scheduler a business already uses.
Why Patcher exists.
Aaron Roberts Patcher founder · Buffalo Bolt owner/operator
I own Buffalo Bolt. There’s two of us, and I was paying for Jobber mostly to schedule jobs and send quotes. It did a lot more than that, but we didn’t need most of it. Honestly, I didn’t even understand half the features—and it was expensive for what we actually used.
That frustration is what led me to create Patcher. I wanted something simple for a small business: keep your appointments straight, see your day at a glance, and let customers book online. Something you can get comfortable with while you’re busy getting your business going.
If you’re still using pen and paper, I want this to be an easy next step. And if you’re like me, paying for a big system just to use the basics, I built this with you in mind.
Two products, for two starting points.
They are separate products, not tiers. Both include cancellation filling.
