The link you send your customer.

Every job in Patcher has one private page for your customer. Text them the link and they see the day and time, who’s coming, where, and the work you agreed on, with no app and no login.

When you need to move a visit, send a reschedule link and they pick a new time themselves.

Every job in Patcher comes with a private page for your customer.

Text them the details and the link, right from the job.

They tap the link. No app, no login.

They see the day and time, who’s coming, and where.

Need a change? They get in touch with you.

And the work you agreed on, with the price.

Back on the job, you can see they’ve opened it.

Patcher. Make tomorrow easier to schedule.

How it works

From the job to your customer’s phone.

The page fills itself in from the job, so there’s nothing extra to write.

  1. 01

    Book the work

The job keeps the customer, the visit, who’s doing it and the services you agreed on, with prices.

  2. 02

    Text the link

From the job, choose Send appointment details. You see the exact text before it goes, with their private link.

  3. 03

    They open it

On any phone, no app, no login: the day and time, the technician, the address, and the agreed work with the total.

  4. 04

    Need to move it?

Send a reschedule link from the job. They pick a new time from your open times and it’s confirmed at once.

Rescheduling

Reschedule from a link you send.

When a customer needs a different time, send them a reschedule link from the job instead of trading calls. They pick a new open time on their phone, with no app and no login, and it’s confirmed at once: the appointment moves on your schedule and the old time opens up.

Jon can’t make Chester’s groom on Friday morning.

Open the job and send him a reschedule link. No phone call needed.

He gets a text with a private link.

No app, no login. He sees his current time and picks an open one.

He confirms, and it’s rescheduled at once.

Your schedule already shows the move, and his old time is open again.

Patcher. Make tomorrow easier to schedule.

  1. 01

Send the link from the job

On the appointment’s menu, choose Send reschedule link, check the text (you can edit it), and send it to the customer’s phone.

  2. 02

    They pick a new time

The link opens a private page with their current appointment and the open times with the same person on your team. They choose one and confirm.

  3. 03

    It’s done

The appointment moves at once, your schedule updates on its own, the old time is open again, and the customer gets a short confirmation text.

Before you choose

The details.

What your customer sees

  • Your business name and logo at the top, and their first name.
  • The day and time (or the arrival window), the technician’s first name and the address. When customers come to you, the service, the price and where to come.
  • The agreed work: each service with its price, any tax, the total, and the date it was approved.

One link per job

  • A request, its estimate and the job share one page and one link, so the link you sent first still works as the work moves along.
  • On the job you see when the text went out and when the page was opened. Opening the preview yourself doesn’t count.
  • Copy the link, preview the page, replace the link, or turn the page off.

What the page doesn’t do

  • There’s no cancel button, and no reschedule button of its own. Customers who need a change contact you.
  • Rescheduling happens through a reschedule link you send. It can’t be sent within 24 hours of the appointment, and a link already sent stops working a day before.
  • No payments and no reminder texts.

Questions about the customer link

Does my customer need an app or an account?

No. It's a private link that opens in their phone's browser. There's nothing to download and no login.

What does the customer page show?

The day and time of the visit, who's coming, the address, and the work you agreed on with the price and total. When customers come to you, it shows the service, the price and where to come.

Does Patcher text my customers automatically?

Only for online bookings and requests, and when they pick a time from a link you sent. Appointments you book yourself send nothing until you choose Send appointment details, and you see the exact text before it goes. Patcher doesn't send reminder texts.

Can customers cancel or reschedule from the page?

Not on their own. The page has no cancel or reschedule button; it tells them how to reach you. To let them pick a new time, send a reschedule link from the job. They choose from your open times and it's confirmed at once. Reschedule links can't be sent within 24 hours of the appointment.

Will I know if they've seen it?

Yes. The job shows when the text was sent and when the customer opened the page.
